It’s Monday Feb 23,2015.
And it’s still cold and foggy and damp outside.
Old man winter is making himself felt all around this morning.
Be careful out there all of you travelers today.
Well The Singing Echoes finished another leg of their 2015 Tour this morning arriving home in the early morning hours from a successful trip to Florida where I’m told they sang to record crowds and made quite an impression to some new SE fans and most importantly carried the good good News of The Gospel to a lot of hearts that had never heard us before.
Tired , worn, completely exhausted they pulled into the driveway we call home safely by the Grace of Almighty God!
Unable to travel yet, I felt so proud of them as they faithfully met the challenges before them and continued the work our family set out to do some 45 years ago.
Well Done, children you will hear the Master one day say. All the labor, the toil, the discouragement, the trial, the heartache, the pressures of life…. the Battle Will Be Over!!
The Race will be Won!!
Enter In My Good And faithful Servant, Thou Hast Been Faithful …..He’ll say…
Well PTL!! And can I add Hallelujah!!!Glory To God!!!?
It’s gonna be worth it all!
To sit down at His feet and Rest a Little While! Well Y’all have done and Got me Started again and it’s only Monday!!
Praise Be To GOD For Our Blessed Hope!
This isn’t a lone wolf assignment. And the Welcome home isn’t reserved for a certain few, but Thank God, It’s For all the Faithful in CHRIST JESUS!! Yes that means you too! It’s your Welcome Home party too!!
So go ahead , meet your brand new Monday with those promises tucked up in the storehouse of your memory, knowing whilst we are here, we are not alone and our effort is recorded, and not in vain!!!
There is a record!!! The Child Of God Has quite some future in store.
And with that today,
Have A Heavenly Day!!
Feb 22, 2015
It’s The Lord ‘ s Day.
Got a good nugget this morning. The Bible says:
Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.
( They were Professional fishermen who had just returned from a long day at sea a fishing. But as I’ve often done, They came home empty handed.
Nothing to show for their long day at their profession.)
Now, look what the Lord did:
As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.
( The Lord had dinner waiting. Bread & fish there on the fire awaiting their arrival.
Now, that had to feel good.
Though they had failed at their profession that day. God still had provisions waiting on them).
Well, there was an invitation…
Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord. (John 21:5, 9, 12 KJV)
The same Jesus they saw hang and die on an old rugged cross
One could expect that from Jesus.
JESUS has an invitation for you too, right now. Much like the one he made those fishermen that day.
From the portals of Glory….
He says that Heaven is Ready…. The table is spread… Time is waiting, don’t go home ” Empty Handed”.
Come and Dine. After a lifetime of coming up empty…
Here’s your chance don’t pass it up .
Just like He said ” COME AND DINE”.
Reservations are available, limited time only. You can pick up your ticket at the House Of GOD this morning.
Have A Heavenly Day.
Saturday Feb 21, 2015.
And snow is on the ground outside my door.
Thankful for a good nights rest and ready to face the new day with the full assurance that my Heavenly Father will be with me all thru the day.
A friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
My load is lighter when He is at the helm.
I just shared some scripture with a dear FB friend a while ago that The Lord has impressed me should be shared with the rest of my FB family as well.
The Bible says:
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. (1 Peter 5:7 KJV).
That’s a declaration from the CEO of Heaven folks.
He is making us an offer we simply can’t refuse.
I urge you to take advantage of it. Your heart needs that.
And the Key Word at this moment is the word ” ALL”!
Don’t sharecropper this one.
Cast it “ALL” upon Him. He’s up for the task!
Have A Heavenly Day.
Received a great report of a great victory today @ 1st Baptist of Liberty , Fl.
I’m told of a great
Morning service today as My son Adam preached as I’m told his best message ever as the Holy Ghost of God used him in an awesome message this morning as a great hallelujah meeting broke forth! The altars poured out the Holy Annointing as souls came to Jesus in a powerfilled moving of God took over!
PTL!?! The Ol time way still works!!!
Sure missed that great presence of the Lord today.
Morning turned into a continuation of that meeting into the afternoon as the Singing Echoes sang the glory down!!!
Makes pawpaw proud!! Praise God , while burdened with my absence they labored on and won the battle with the help of the Lord! Thx Gang for your perseverance!
The Bible says:
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. (Acts 4:13 KJV)
When your work causes others to take notice of Gods hand in your life it is the ultimate reward for all the trial and tribulation.
So glad to see the battle carried on by my faithful Gang! Love you folks!
Make sure people notice Jesus in your life.
Another frigid cold winter morning to start the day.
As I sit here in post this morn I notice the faint glimmer of the early morning sunrise as it peaks over the eastern horizon and I’m again reminded of My Heavenly Fathers’ Faithfulness. You know that old sun has been rising early and creeping over that horizon all my life. It’s never missed a day.
Whether or not I viewed it or even when I slept thru it all, God, still very faithfully fulfilled His promise and brought forth that old sun just the same.
Sometimes it brought good news, sometimes bad, but it brought me the assurance of Gods eternal and unending Love and tender care.
Wow! Been a cold day or two.
Guess it was a good thing the Drs have had me shut in for the past two weeks or so. Sure hate I missed all these invigorating weather we’ve all had. (NOT REaLLY!).
I have a sad heart tonight, as a dear friend of mine is at deaths door. Man I hate to see em go.
Sickness , death, Bad weather… Sure is a tough start to this brand new year.
Seems there’s no end to it.
God thankfully has seen us thru it all so far.
And there’s a song I always liked…
The Bible says:
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: (Colossians 2:6 KJV)
Walk the walk. Talk the talk.
Mixed messages confuse.
They need to see you walk what you talk.
They won’t believe you till you do.
When it’s all over and before the Lord we all stand, let your life be a bouquet , not a stench in the nostrils of The One who sits on the throne.
When it’s that important, we need to be our best.
If it were for just me it wouldn’t matter.
But The Savior of the world,
The King of Kings & Lord of Lords deserves…. Better.
He gave us His…..Lets give Him ours.
The Bible can be very tender in its instructions:
Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. (James 5:8 KJV)
The patient heart in today’s world is a remarkable feat what with peril and distress so rampant and seemingly endless.
Stablished Hearts? Now that’s a mouthful too
Attacks from every side and evil so aggressive these times steal the very best of our intentions, exposing our weaknesses, leaving wounds that take our strength from us.
Wasn’t it Paul in Romans Ch 7 who wrote of impending battles with the flesh and the Spirit?
After a while the battle becomes a trial. We get weary. We want to lay it all down. Even give up.
If you have these emotions and even mix some feelings of guilt to top it all off then, welcome to the family.
Cause you’re not alone.
God said it would be like this at times.
That’s why he kept driving the message home ”
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. (Colossians 3:16-17 KJV)”.
And remember what that last part of our text this morning said….
The Coming of The Lord is near.
Taken courage you battlescarred soldiers.
Indeed the battle soon will be over. VICTORY IS ASSURED.
And thank God that giveth us the Victory.
Just hold on to His unchanging hand!
Have A Heavenly Day.
