The Bible says:
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. (Philippians 1:21-24 KJV)
The committed Child of GOD! That’s quite a sacrifice. Walking Faithfully.
Surrendered to the cause Of CHRIST.
Do you remember the dedicated man or woman that led you to the saving knowledge Of the Lord Jesus Christ???
Have you ever thought about that? Did you think of the times they prayed for you, that you would get saved? That your life would change and be anew?
Did you realize the time in prayer they must have spent callin out your name?
Oh the hours spent in study Or the persecution they might have faced as the Devil tried to keep their message from getting through to your heart!!!
Paul speaks of a life so dedicated to that lost soul, and to the will Of God, that he valued not his own!
His life was of no concern, it was separated to GOD and to His perfect will.
Think back of the first one to tell you about JESUS.
They took all that time to try and keep you out of Hell !!!
It’s hard to believe you know? Caring that much for another???
Who was your “Paul?”.
How hard of a time did you give them???
Did you come easily? Or were you like me? Only the Grace of God could be so loving and kind, so Faithful and true. So patient and mild.
And yet they’re eyes were fixed on Heaven…..yearning for Home. But abiding … Because The Lord Had You in mind!!! Hallelujah!!!
When He was on the Cross,
I was on His mind!
For me? No doubt it was a sweet Prayin Mom & Dad.
( Not scholars mind you, only a 3rd grade education and a country girl raisin on a little farm in Cleveland , Tn that now is the Singing Echoes Gospel Music Park)
Who loved me into the arms of Jesus!
They loved me too much and were dedicated to GOD too much to let me go on and die in my sins.
And today, they are together singing in Heaven
Awaiting my arrival.
Mom and Dad, Jesus
And many many more .
They stepped off on the Beautiful Shore. And will one day welcome me Home.
And I’m so thankful for their Faithful dedication to the Lord down here.
One day I intend to tell them just how much it’s meant to me.
