Good evening.
My, the rain came today.

Cut my mowin time in half( thank you lord?)
It was a good day but I’m tired this evening.Glad to relax and get some rest.

Picked up some of our grandees this evening. Qwen and our youngest …Mattie Anne .

Barely 1 yr old . She’s just gettin used to Pawpaw.

(Still gets spooked at my sunglasses ). Got a beautiful smile and blue eyes to match. I love her giggle .

She’s just learning to say Pawpaw. Heeheee

Mawmaw and Pawpaw are so proud of her. And while she denies it, I’ve assured Glenda she said “Pawpaw” first! Lol!!

Qwen couldn’t wait to see his dad and wanted to know if he could go to Pawpaws house for the night. ( Pawpaw put him up to it, heehee.)And go ride the bus and sing this weekend.

He and Pawpaw are real buddies. It’s been a while since he spent the night with us now that he’s all grown up and all in kindergarten.

I’m still shocked by that! Aren’t you?

Seems like only yesterday they brought that rascal home from the Hospital.

He has helped Pawpaw sing, play all sorts of

games and learn to grow up together.

( Qwen’s doin better at it than Pawpaw).

It reminds me of a familiar scripture :

“…. we spend our years as a tale that is told.
Yes it seems that time is getting faster than ever.

And my kids have all grown and now my grandees are growing faster than you can shake a stick at!

It’s going so quickly.
Are you saved? Are you, really? Could you share you’re salvation experience with someone if you were asked to?What would you say to them?

How does things look for you in the future?

Do you have a good eternity to look forward to or are you hoping you won’t die and find out those Christians were right after all?
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”

Psalms 90:9, 12 KJV
You know that Psalmist makes a whole lot of sense.

It sounds like he’s on to something.

Don’t know about you but I could use a whole lot more of that thing he called wisdom. Not the “head” wisdom that a lot of folk have these days. You know, the kind that changes whenever the wind does?

But the wisdom this Psalmist is referring to is wisdom of the Heart .

The Heart’s not as likely to be mislead , though it sometimes can be.

But , there’s an old saying I used to hear a lot of…

It goes” You can fool all the people some of the time. And Even some of the people all of the time.

Sooner or later you’re going to get caught.

And that’s the truth!

With wisdom the Heart can discern better.

Things are so confusing these days. I recall the bible referring to times when the God would send ” Strong Delusions ” ….

Yes, I’ m reading your mind… Sounds like it to me too!!
Let’s make sure we acquire all that wisdom of the heart we can get before things get any worse.

Pretty soon somebody’s going to want to know how we got saved….and you know …it just could be that grandson.
Good night.

Come unto him

Good morning.
Ever find yourself there?

Boy I sure have.

I’ve made so many mistakes in my life I wonder how God could ever forgive it all and still love me.

Don’t ask me how or why, just ask me if he does !!

The answer is resoundingly yes, Yes!

A Hell deserving sinner,

Matchless Grace, both collide and the result is that GRACE becomes Amazing!!!

For it wins !!! It wins!!!

A wretched sinner vile as he could be finds unmerited favor from The Lord of all!!!

This morning. The next step you need to take is found in the photo you have seen.

It shows a sinner coming to Jesus. And that’s what you should do. No matter what you’ve been through or how bad your past is.

Your future had bright potential!! But it starts with coming as

She did to the Lord And Savior , Jesus Christ.

This morning is the perfect time to confess your sins. ( not to me , but to him) open up your heart and let the SON Shine in!

Just wait ….till you do!!!
Have a Heavenly Day.

Praying for someone like me.

Good morning.
There’s something missing in America today. Somethings missing in our homes.

But more important , is that somethings missing in our heart this morning.
I’ve often heard this old fav of mine sung by many an artist. But one of my most precious memories is to hear my momma praying for me.

I’d be in Hell today had it not been for my praying momma and daddy.
Listen to an old old fav sung By one of my fav groups , The Spencer Family,JD & sis Barbara.

Still wish I could hear my momma Prayin for me…
Have a Heavenly Day.

Good morning.
Thank you Lord for a wonderful Easter

After a glorious Sunday morning worship we gathered to the Singing Echoes Park for a afternoon celebration with family and friends.

( I’m still looking for those eggs!!)

Grandees were having a blast!

Kept hearing my Glenda,

Lynn you’re eating too much!!!

How could I resist there were dumplins everywhere???

The nana pudding and strawberry cake and the cookies and the candy all made for a feast that was to die for!

I immediately began to think of the countless ones who would not get to eat such a feast this day and decided I’d try to eat enough for them too! Heehee.

But today, it’s back to the cardboard as Glenda put a halt to my evil ways.

Love my Glenda .

Today hope you are enjoying a gorgeous day in Tennessee!

Beautiful afternoon and Glenda is off today. We are having a Funtime just being together.

Hope you and your loved one will get to do the same.
Have a Heavenly Day.

Easter -Shoutin time!

Good evening.
A wonderful day!!!

Celebrated the Blessed hope because of the empty tomb!
Had a powerful service this Morning at Savannah Bay Baptist .a great little church about 10-12 mi from my house here.

Easter service brought joy to hearts as they featured a play depicting the life of Jesus. From the deeds he did, to the cross he bore, to the empty tomb.

They were shoutin all over the house as the truth set us free!!! And we had a time rejoicing. Boy they did a great job.

The message of the gospel is so compelling.

You can’t hear it and it not move you.

And it sure moved the crowd today!

There ‘s Victory when the Truth comes out!

When you hear it you may not receive it ; many have rejected it, but folks it does change you either way.

You are never the same when you’ve heard the gospel!( Thank God I’m not what I used to be!).

Conviction, good old time Holy Ghost conviction

Has a lasting effect on a heart that’s prepared for the message.

And how do you prepare it?

Through prayer and showing love and not condemnation.

Only God can make that kind of impression on a life that’s steeped in sin.

Only God can break that heart and put it back together again.

And when you hear about things like the Love of GOD, and the resurrection from the dead, and the assention , well children ,

You just know you’re not talking about any ordinary man you’re taking about the Blessed Son Of the Living GOD!!

And he will rescue he will save he will protect you from all harm!!

There I go…. starting my shout all over again!!!

Hope you had a fantastic Easter Sunday!
Good night.

The graveyard scene

Good evening.
It was “Good ” Friday.

The crosses were now empty, the bodies removed, nothing left, but ….bloodstains. And those horrid memories.

Minds still gasping at what they had seen and heard.

No human being had ever been treated like this.

Talk about weeping enduring the night… How could the crying ever stop ?

Well the ol Devil had given it all he had!

Tried as he did to kill the savior before he got to that old cross.

The hammer, the nails the spear that Pierced his side

Beaten beyond recognition. The Devil exhausted every means he had to stop the breathing.. To keep him from ol Galgotha. He had every hypocrite in the church screaming crucify! Crucify!!

But it was to no avail

As the forever settled in heaven Word of almighty God promised….there was an old rugged cross in The Future of the Lord Jesus Christ. And there were not enough Devils in all of Hell that would stop him….

God calls the end before the beginning and no devil is going to change what GOD s plan has in store!!

IF he could stop him before , if before he made it to Calvary maybe he could have won.

But GODs eternal Purpose would prevail!!!
The sacrifice is now over….

In the Tomb lies the body, wrapped in graveclothes…but all the dead from the beginning of time was scheduled to have a visitor!! Jesus was on his way!!! even the Gates of Hell could not keep him out!

While there was sorrow and darkness at the graveyard,….

It would not stay that way….well Glory!!!
But not yet…. No neighbor , not yet…

In the graveyard something was going on!!

All the disciples would have a long long day tomorrow.

But Sunday morning would soon come…

Yes Sunday morning, the 3 Rd day would soon come!
Good night.

One special Friday!

Good morning.
It’s Friday. And a special Friday. It’s what is known as “Good Friday”.

Not because it’s the last day of the workweek for most.

But because of Jesus Christ! (Devil still hates to hear his name mentioned these days).

It represents the Day they nailed Jesus , Gods Only begotten son to an old rugged cross there in Jerusalem, on a hill far away called Galgotha, The Place of The Skull.
Yes it was there, that man became and displayed his worst, and GOD gave his best, and Jesus gave his all! There on the cross of Calvary.

Suffering like no other man has ever know , bleeding dying, for his own.

The sadness still grips faithful hearts till this day.

Such hate such vile inhumane behavior revealed why he needed to die…. Because the heart of man was so full of sin.

But, the cross is not the end of the story.

Oh ih oh no my friend ….

It only tells of the sacrifice!

How Jesus laid down his life on that old rugged cross for you and me.

But there’s more to the story!!! Oh yes,

 much more….!!

You’re not gonna believe how the story will end!!

PTL!!! Shut your ears Devil, this will ruin your day!!!

But for now…. The darkness is upon us…. As the price is being paid for our sins there at Calvary, on a hill Far away!! I can hear the hammer. I hear the nails pinging out. I hear the raging mob…

What’s that I hear???

I hear a voice …. What ? He’s speaking…. But, what is that he’s saying???

Have a Heavenly Day.

A sell out!

Good evening.
The Bible says:

“Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them. And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭22:3-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬
The answer to all our problems per the world.

Sold out. The Disciple sold out Jesus

For silver 30 pieces of silver he sold his soul out and his mentor.

But why not? Everybody else is doing it.

Sound familiar?

There’s a multitude of copycat behavior that has sold out the Lord Jesus.
But how could you?

He gave his life to save us from our sins.

Those sins deserved death but he saved us. Our sins are gone we could not earn it it was unmerited favor so we are eternally indebted to him so how could we sell him out?

Just ask Judas , it’s not as hard as you think.

Look at the text, they were glad to give him money.

The evil of money. The love of money is the root of all evil.

It was the root of what sold out Jesus to the Sanhedrin gangsters.

What is he worth? How do you arrive at A value for selling out your savior?

Well it only took 30 pieces of silver to get Judas’s attention and allegiance.

And just before you errupt into an all out assault on ol Judas, we should think about it a moment.

For we all have done our fair share of selling out.

We’ve all done some selling out of Jesus .

Just think it over and you’ll agree.

Be sure your sin will find you out. And it will get you in trouble before you get it all out of your life.

The silver may not be the culprit, maybe it’s something else, like a job or a hobby, maybe something else , but you know what it is.

Why did he go to Calvary? Why did he suffer, such agony ?

Why did he do it!? Why oh why? Because he loved you and me!

Love is why he died for you and me!!

Jesus sold himself out for you and me!
Good night.

He has risen!!

Good morning.
Thank God for another day. After a good ,restful night I’m ready for a fresh new day.

Hope you are too.

Today is Tuesday March 24th. And they are

forcasting a chance of rain in our area.

But they’re not sure when it will arrive.

Of that way with us Christians… We know the Lord is coming soon. Just not sure when.

By now you must be thinking about the weekend and all the Easter Pageantry goin on in area churches.

It’s the celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ .

See, It’s a big deal as Christianity is the soul religion in the world that can boast of a risen Savior.

Our Lord Died on a cross, and then 3 days later, ( heehee the Devil can’t stand that truth!)

Yes yes on the 3rd Day he arose!!!! Victorious over sin and death.

Death has met its match! The savior has met every demand of the law! He died, was buried, and he has risen!! Because there was no sin found in him. Death had no claim on him. Hallelujah!!

Folks if the Savior is not risen as Paul declared then we have no hope! Jesus would be an imposter! Then all our love ones who died in the Lord will have perished! Thank God He has RISEN!!

The CHRISTIAN FAITH HINGES ON THE RESURRECTION OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!!! And He lives , yes yes he lives within our hearts!!

This week is what they call the Passion Week.

Churches and religious groups all around the world are reviewing, reenacting, studyin the events of the week that led up to the crucifixion of The Lord Jesus which further led to the glorious resurrection morning.

When the Lord rose out of that old borrowed tomb!! Hallelujah!!

He is alive!! He has risen come and see where the grave clothes lay was the testimony!!!

Tomorrow will focus on the dread day of the horrible historic account of just how low man can steep. When they nailed Jesus , an innocent man to an old rugged cross and pierced his precious side and beat him mocking the Savior of the world.

Tomorrow the a Singing Echoes will make a return visit to the Lifecare Centers of America here in Cleveland to sing for the Special Residents there at the home.

We look forward to being in service and proclaiming the cross the blood and the blessed hope!!! First song will be at 1pm.

It has been a blessing to sing for these faithful folks who still love God!!! And do they ever love gospel music!!

Sunday is the big day! Easter will have arrived. Some will hunt the eggs, some will meet and eat, but the Church will meet to celebrate the resurrected Lord of Glory!!

We’ll see you there!!
Have a Heavenly Day.

He’s all I need!

Good morning.
The Lord is my shepherd! Remember that?
There’s more to that verse.

You know it?

I shall not want.

It’s not a question of provision. It’s a state of contentment.

As long as you have Jesus you Have all you need.

Having Jesus is all that matters.

Jesus satisfies the longing soul.

The begger at the gate had little provision. But in The end he was carried into Abraham’s bosom.
The thief on the cross was absolutely empty of the necessities of life …. But when he asked the Lord to remember him when he entered into his Kenhsppy, the Lord replied , today shalt thou be with me in paradise.
I’ve seen one who had the whole world by the tail so to speak and yet they were bankrupt spiritually and as unhappy as they could be.

I’m sure you’ve seen the story of Elvis, Marilyn, and many many others.

Having a lot doesn’t always mean a lot.

Knowing Christ does mean a lot! It’s all the difference in the world.

Some of you can tell that already.

Some have lives that seem unfulfilled. Empty lonely and blue.

But the cure isn’t that bottle nor that pill. It’s not in the wealth of the world.

That’s for sure.

And yet, all the disciples of Jesus met a horrible death in defense of their faith on Christ Jesus the resurrected Lord!

Jesus meant everything to them.

Tell me my friend,

What does JESUS mean to you?Does he play a role in your plans? Is he real in your heart today?
The Lord is my shepherd!

Yes yes , as the child once said… ” What more could I want”?

The Bible says:
“But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.”

‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭6:6-8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Have a Heavenly Day.
